Felony Domestic Assault Charges Dismissed after “victim” forced to admit allegation was fabrication

A prominent St. Louis night club promoter was charged with Domestic Assault in the 2nd Degree, Domestic Assault in the 3rd Degree, and Stealing after a former girlfriend accused him of slapping her, choking her, and stealing her cell phone. During our investigation we gained access to her social media accounts which showed that she had no bruises on her neck, that she had fabricated the story becuase she upset about infidelity, and that she had committed felony property damage against our client’s new girlfriend during the pendency of the case. We forced her to admit to all these facts during a deposition. Shortly therafter, the prosecutor dismissed all charges against our client.
