Domestic Assault, UUW, and Stealing Charges Dismissed; Probation Reinstated

Client was on probation for shooting at or from a motor vehicle and faced a mandatory 15 year sentence if revoked. While on probation, Client was charged with felony Domestic Assault, Unlawful use of a Weapon, and Stealing after allegedly pistol whipping a paramour and stealing his phone. During a deposition, we picked apart the complaining witnesses’ story and attacked his credibility. Shortly after the deposition, the prosecutor dismissed all charges. Furthermore, we were able to persuade the probation judge to reinstate our client’s probation, thus saving her from a potential 15 year backup sentence.
